Services
Interior design, fit-out, and furniture in Abu Dhabi
Ten services, one team, one contract. Most projects use several of them, which is the point.
Design
Interior design and technical drawings
The drawings a project is built from, and the decisions that are cheap now and expensive later. Most of the regret in a finished interior traces back to this stage rather than to a finish.
Build
Fit-out and finishes
Approvals, services coordination, and the order the trades run in. The construction is rarely the problem. What moves a date is a decision nobody made or an approval nobody started.
Fit-out & renovation
One contract from the drawings to the handover, with the joinery made in our own workshop.
Flooring
The subfloor checked before anything is laid, and the transitions thought about.
Wall painting & wallpaper
Most of the work happens before the first coat goes on.
Curtains
Measured at your windows, made to those measurements, hung by the people who measured.
Make
Joinery, furniture, and upholstery
Joinery cut, furniture built, and upholstery done by our own people in Abu Dhabi. A revision to a drawing reaches the bench without a new supplier, a new quote, and a new argument about who pays for it.
Furniture making
Drawn to your room, made locally in the UAE, delivered and placed.
Woodwork
Fitted work cut to your walls, not to a standard carcase size.
Upholstery
Stripped back to the frame, rebuilt properly, then covered.
Antique restoration
Repair what has failed, keep what has not, and leave the age on the piece.
One trade or all of them
Some clients come to us for a full fit-out: a bare shell or a stripped-back villa that needs drawings, site work, joinery, finishes, and furniture before anyone can move in. Others want one thing done properly. A set of curtains measured at the window. A chair reupholstered. A veneered cabinet repaired rather than replaced.
Both are normal for us. The ten services below are separate pages because they are separate trades, but they run out of the same company. If a job turns out to need two of them, nobody has to be appointed twice.
Why one contract changes the job
A fit-out usually goes wrong in the handovers. The designer passes the drawing to a contractor, the contractor sub-lets the joinery, and the detail that made the drawing worth paying for disappears somewhere in the middle. Dates slip because everyone on site is waiting on someone who does not report to them.
We work on one contract from the drawings to the handover. Furniture is made locally in the UAE in beech and oak, from a wide range or made to measure. Joinery of every type is cut in our own Abu Dhabi workshop. When something does not line up, there is no argument about whose fault it is.
What we cannot tell you in advance
We do not publish lead times or prices, and we would rather explain why than give you a number that turns out to be wrong. A programme depends on the size of the space, the approvals, the access, the material lead times, and what the other trades on site are doing. Prices move week to week.
So every job is quoted from drawings and a site visit. Send a floor plan, a photograph, or a description of what you want, and we will tell you what it takes and what it costs. That answer will be specific to your project, which is the only kind of answer worth having.
Questions about the services
- Do I have to use all ten?
- No. Most projects use several and almost none use all of them. A villa renovation might be fit-out, flooring, painting, and curtains with no furniture at all. Take one trade or the whole thing.
- Do you design without building?
- Yes. You can take the drawings and have them built by someone else, and some clients do. What you get either way is a set that a contractor can actually build from, because the people who drew it also build.
- Can you take over a project someone else started?
- Yes, and it happens regularly. It begins with a survey of what is actually there rather than what the previous drawings say is there, because on a part-built job those are rarely the same thing.
- Do you work outside Abu Dhabi?
- Yes. We are based on Al Najda Street in Abu Dhabi and take projects in Dubai, across all seven Emirates and into the wider Gulf. Materials are sourced worldwide.
