How we ended up doing all three

Design firms draw. Contractors build. Furniture makers make. Most projects need all three, and most of the trouble on a project happens in the handovers between them.

We started by making furniture, and the rest followed from clients asking whether we could also handle the room the piece was going into. Doing all three is not a strategy so much as the answer we kept giving.

Furniture and joinery

We carry a wide range of furniture and make pieces to measure, all made locally in the UAE. Joinery covers every type of work a project needs, cut in our own Abu Dhabi workshop.

Keeping the making close changes how a job runs. A chair frame that needs a new rail goes to our own joiners rather than out to a third party for three weeks.

What the years in the trade get you

More than 440 projects since 2003, and a team with more than thirty years in the trade. Mostly that experience buys judgement about what will go wrong: which subfloor will telegraph, which finish will not match in a year, which programme was never realistic.

We would rather tell you that at the quote than discover it together halfway through.

Discretion

Many of our clients would rather not see their homes online, and we work that way by default. NDAs are standard, and no project is photographed or published without written consent. Much of our best work we are not permitted to show.
